Italian speaking Customer Advisor – digital banking Full Time

Location:  Lisbon, Portugal

Role: Italian Customer Advisor – Digital Banking

Salary: 905 euro gross per month (this does include also the holiday bonuses) plus free accommodation (so no monthly cost for rent, utility bills etc) plus 154 EUR net on meal vouchers  Package without accommodation is 1,237 euro gross p/m plus meal allowance of 154 EUR net p/m.

Working Hrs: 40 Hours per week (8 hours per day with an additional lunch break hour) on a rotational shift pattern between Monday to Sunday from 00:00 to 24:00.

As an Italian speaking Customer Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering seamless support to customers via chat, phone, or email. From fraud resolution to account queries, you’ll be empowered to handle complex issues end-to-end while ensuring a top-tier customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Resolve a wide range of customer queries via chat, call, or email, with a focus on first-contact resolution.
Take full ownership of customer issues, including complex and sensitive cases.
Support fraud investigations, handle disputes (including chargebacks), and manage complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Identify and support vulnerable customers, escalating cases when necessary.
Coach and support teammates through knowledge sharing and feedback.
Adapt quickly to evolving tools, systems, and business needs.

What We’re Looking For:

Native level of Italian and fluent English
Previous experience in Customer Service within the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance sectors in Italy
Strong communication skills, empathy, and a clear, customer-first approach.
Independent decision-making with the ability to resolve complex cases fairly.
Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Team player with a values-driven and risk-aware mindset.
Quick to learn new tools and processes; experience with Slack and GSuite is a plus.
